MICROMASTER 4 inverters drive fans, pumps, conveyors and general machinery. The 420 is the compact general-purpose version and the 440 adds more control features and higher ratings. Replacement with a G120 usually means re-parameterising and sometimes re-wiring, so many sites prefer a like-for-like unit.
What to check before ordering
- Exact rating (kW, voltage class) and whether the drive has an integrated filter
- Frame size, because the footprint decides whether it fits the cabinet
- Whether a control panel (BOP/AOP) and communication module are needed
- Saved parameter set: a replacement may need it reloaded
